The Lucky Scarab, who is also a magician, brings good fortune to Amarh, a poor slave miner. Through a series of adventures, he meets the love of his life, Baalat, the Goddess of a Turquoise mine.

Before Amarh can marry Baalat, he must pay a dangerous visit to the tomb of Neferkaptah, in the City of the Dead, in order to retrieve the Magic Book of TEHUTI/THOTH, the Mighty God of Hieroglyphs.
