Lily Azerad-Goldman was born in Heliopolis, Egypt. She is an artist/author, a travel illustrator as well as a book reviewer. She has always been fascinated with Ancient Egyptian mythology and her illustrations for The Lucky Scarab have been modeled after this antique art. Her home base is Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
